An hour on the interactive LED floor in Chisinau costs between 300 and 3300 MDL for the whole group: 300 MDL for two players on a Monday at midday, 3300 MDL for twenty four players on a weekend. Per person that works out at 91.67 MDL to 220 MDL for one hour of play, plus 30 MDL for the anti-slip socks, which are compulsory and paid once per person. At Hai Pixel, the first interactive LED-floor venue in Chisinau, a session is sold to the group rather than as an individual ticket, and the price ramps per head in steps, which means the tenth player costs far less than the third.

How much does an hour on the LED floor cost in Chisinau?
The price depends on three things and nothing else: how many players you are, which day and hour you come, and whether you book one hour or two. There is no entry ticket, no per child rate and no weekend surcharge at the end. The number in the table is the number for the whole group, for the whole booked duration.
The three price bands are:
- Monday to Thursday, 10:00 to 16:00: the cheapest band in the catalogue.
- Monday to Thursday, 16:00 to 22:00: the weekday evening, roughly a third more expensive than the daytime band.
- Friday, Saturday and Sunday: the weekend band, with no split by hour. Friday at 11:00 and Saturday at 20:00 cost exactly the same.
Opening hours are daily, 10:00 to 22:00, so the last one hour session starts at 21:00. The venue is Grand Hall, bd. Constantin Negruzzi 2/4, second floor: a 360 m² space with pressure-sensitive LED floors and an interactive LED wall, more than 30 movement games and rounds of 2 to 3 minutes. Staff speak Romanian, English and Russian.
The three things that move the price
How many players. A session is booked for 2 to 24 players. The price rises with every person added, but not by the same amount each time: the increment shrinks as the group grows, with two jumps where an extra floor opens. The per person price therefore falls almost continuously from 2 up to 24.
The day and the hour. The gap between the cheapest and the most expensive band is large. A group of eight pays 1080 MDL on a Monday at midday and 1600 MDL on a Saturday for exactly the same hour of play. If the budget matters more than the day, moving a Saturday booking to a Tuesday lunchtime is the single biggest saving available.
One hour or two. The second hour does not cost what the first one does. A two hour session is roughly 1.85 times the one hour price, so the second hour carries an implicit discount of about 15 per cent. With rounds of 2 to 3 minutes, one hour means around fifteen rounds including breaks; two hours means the group also gets to the longer team games.
The full price for one hour, by group and by band
The table below gives the total for the whole group, in MDL, for a one hour session. Socks are not included here; we add them separately below, because they are a per person cost rather than a group cost.

What does it come to per person for one hour?
This is the number people are actually looking for, because it decides whether the plan happens. The figures below are the row total divided by exactly that row's headcount, rounded to the nearest leu. Socks are still not included.

Two things here are worth reading closely. First, groups of 2, 3 and 4 players pay exactly the same per person: 150 MDL in the daytime band and 220 MDL at the weekend. Below five people there is no volume advantage at all. Second, the per person price falls hardest between 10 and 20 players: a group of 20 at the weekend pays 141 MDL each, less than a couple pays on a Monday at midday in the cheapest band there is.
Two hours does not cost double
A two hour session costs roughly 1.85 times the one hour price, with small deviations from rounding to the nearest ten lei. In practice the second hour is about 15 per cent cheaper than the first. The totals look like this:

The best value in the catalogue is the bottom left corner: 24 players, Monday to Thursday between 10:00 and 16:00, two hours, 4070 MDL. Divided by 24 people and by 2 hours, that is 84.79 MDL per person per hour. The worst is 220 MDL per person per hour, covered in detail below. The gap is more than two and a half times, and it comes down to three decisions: how many you are, when you come and how long you stay.
One practical note: do not book two hours for small children just because it is cheaper per hour. The second hour earns its place with teenagers, adults and large groups that rotate teams.
Why "from 1250 MDL" is not your price
This is the one real trap on a pricing page and it is worth explaining once. Prices ramp per head in brackets, and an advertised from-price is always the price at the smallest group in that bracket, never the price for your group. "From 1250 MDL" is the price at exactly 9 players, Monday to Thursday in the daytime band. A group of 16 in the same band pays 1600 MDL, not 1250, and 1250 divided by 16 would give 78 MDL per person, a number that exists nowhere in the catalogue.
The rule is simple: find the row with your exact headcount and read the cell. Never divide a from-price by a larger group. Here is how much each new player adds to the total, in the Monday to Thursday 10:00 to 16:00 band, for one hour:

Read backwards, the table says something useful: if you are at 9 or 10 people and two more friends are hesitating, each adds only 50 MDL to the bill, under half of what everyone is already paying per head. Above nine people, inviting one more person is almost always the decision that makes the evening cheaper for everybody else.
What changes at 9 players and at 17
Floors are allocated by group size: up to 8 players use one floor, 9 to 16 use two, and 17 to 24 use three. That is not bookkeeping, it is what lets everyone play at the same time instead of queueing. A group of 20 is not split into shifts; it is split across floors and plays simultaneously, with the score on the wall.
The consequence is worth admitting: the ninth player is the only one who makes the evening more expensive for everybody else. In the Monday to Thursday 10:00 to 16:00 band, eight players pay 1080 MDL, or 135 MDL each. Nine players pay 1250 MDL, or 138.89 MDL each. With socks, eight people come to 165 MDL each and nine to 168.89 MDL each. The difference is small but real, and it only appears in the daytime band: in the evening and at the weekend the ninth player already makes the per head figure slightly cheaper.
From the tenth player upwards the curve drops fast and never comes back up. At 16 players the daytime band gives exactly 100 MDL per person for one hour. At 24 players, in the same band, it is 91.67 MDL.
Three complete calculations, socks included
The number on a pricing page is never the number at the counter, because the anti-slip socks are missing from it. You play in socks only, a pair with an anti-slip sole costs 30 MDL, and it is bought once per person. Anyone who already owns a pair pays nothing extra. Every calculation below includes them.
Example 1: six friends, Tuesday evening, one hour. A one hour session for 6 players, Monday to Thursday between 16:00 and 22:00, costs 1080 MDL. Socks add 6 pairs at 30 MDL, which is 180 MDL. Total at the counter: 1260 MDL. Divided by 6 people, that is exactly 210 MDL per person.
Example 2: ten people, Saturday, two hours. A two hour session for 10 players at the weekend costs 3440 MDL. Socks add 10 pairs at 30 MDL, which is 300 MDL. Total at the counter: 3740 MDL. Divided by 10, that is exactly 374 MDL per person for two hours of play, or 187 MDL per person per hour.
Example 3: twenty colleagues, Thursday lunchtime, two hours. A two hour session for 20 players, Monday to Thursday between 10:00 and 16:00, costs 3480 MDL. Socks add 20 pairs at 30 MDL, which is 600 MDL. Total at the counter: 4080 MDL. Divided by 20, that is exactly 204 MDL per person for two hours, or 102 MDL per hour. The cheapest company outing we can honestly calculate.
The case that does not flatter us: two adults on a Friday evening
If you publish an article about prices, you have to publish the part that does not flatter you. Here it is. Two adults on a Friday evening, one hour, pay 440 MDL for the group. With two pairs of socks, 60 MDL, the bill is 500 MDL, meaning 250 MDL per person for one hour. That is the highest per person hourly rate in the catalogue. Groups of three and four at the weekend pay exactly the same rate, 220 MDL per person before socks, so the record is shared between them; from the fifth player upwards the rate starts falling and never comes back.
For comparison, those same two people on a Monday at midday pay 300 MDL for the group, or 180 MDL each with socks. Same hour, same games, same floor, 70 MDL less per head. If you are two and the budget matters, move the booking into the Monday to Thursday 10:00 to 16:00 band or find four more people. There is no third solution.
It is worth saying why: a session reserves the floor for your group, it does not sell seats in a shared session. Two people occupy the same surface eight could play on. That is a format choice, not a surcharge, but the consequence for a couple is real.
What the session price does not include
The session price buys floor time, the games, the score wall and the staff who run the rounds. It does not buy three things, which have to be added to a budget separately:
- The anti-slip socks, 30 MDL a pair, once per person, compulsory for anyone who does not bring their own.
- The private celebration area and the table area, which belong to the birthday packages rather than to a plain session.
- Food and cake, which are ordered as options on the birthday packages, not on sessions.
That leads to the most useful comparison we can make. The Party package for up to 8 guests costs 3000 MDL, one flat price on any day, and means 2 hours of LED-floor games with the table area, then roughly 2 more hours with the private celebration area only, so around 4 hours on site. A plain 2 hour session for 8 players at the weekend costs 2960 MDL. The difference is 40 MDL, and for it you get two more hours of private space, so at the weekend the package is almost always the better choice. In the Monday to Thursday 10:00 to 16:00 band the same session costs 2000 MDL, so the package is 1000 MDL more expensive and only makes sense if you genuinely need the private area. When is a session not worth booking?
There are a few situations where the numbers above say plainly that something else suits you better, and we would rather say so upfront.
If you are two people looking for the cheapest possible weekend outing. 250 MDL per person for an hour is a fair price for what you get, but it is not a cheap outing. A walk through Parcul Catedralei or the Botanical Garden costs nothing, and we are not going to pretend we are their budget alternative.
If you want a long sit-down meal with conversation. The LED floor is a moving activity with rounds of 2 to 3 minutes and a score on the wall, not a place to sit for two hours and talk. If that is what you are after, a restaurant in the centre does it better.
If you are between 25 and 60 people. Above 24 players this is no longer a standard session but an event arranged by phone on +373 79 238 617. The tables above do not apply and should not be extrapolated.
If the birthday person needs a cake, candles and a space of their own. Then the birthday package is the right product, not the session, even though the session looks cheaper at first.
How to book and what happens if the headcount changes
Booking is done online on the booking page, where you pick the day, time, duration and number of players, and the price is calculated in front of you before you confirm. One detail that surprises groups: the booking is made for a number of players, and that is the number that gets paid. Book for ten, and if eight turn up the price stays the price for ten, because the floors were held for ten. If two extra people appear they can be added when there is still room, and the difference is settled on site. Book the number you are sure of, not the optimistic number from the group chat.
Weekends fill first, and the Monday to Thursday 16:00 to 22:00 band is the quietest of the week, so that is where a same-day slot is most likely.
