A few details that change the maths. Grand Party has a hard cap of 18 guests: the seventeenth and eighteenth cost 250 MDL each, so 5250 and 5500 MDL. From 19 guests you move to Festival, which stays at 7000 MDL all the way to 50 guests, the point where the per-guest cost drops the most. Why the per-guest price falls as the group grows
Packages are priced per event, not per child, so every extra guest splits the same sum further. Party at 8 guests is 375 MDL a head, Grand Party at 16 drops to 313 MDL, Festival at 24 guests is 292 MDL and at 40 guests it is 175 MDL. The practical consequence: hovering between 8 and 10 guests means a 2000 MDL jump from Party to Grand Party, so those two extra children are expensive, while between 12 and 16 the extra guests are effectively free. Finalise the list before you book, not after.
If you do not want a package: the hourly session
Not every birthday needs a private area and full organisation. If the cake is being cut at home and you only want the activity, book a standard Pixel session for 2 to 24 players, one hour or two. Floors are added automatically by group size: up to 8 players, one floor; 9 to 16, two; 17 to 24, three. Between 25 and 60 participants, the event is arranged by phone.

Package or session? The honest calculation
Compare it properly. Sixteen guests on a Saturday, two-hour session: 4440 MDL. The Grand Party package: 5000 MDL. That 560 MDL difference buys the private celebration area, where the cake, presents and coats live, plus the organising, so the package is almost always the better call. On a weekday daytime slot the same session costs 2960 MDL and the gap widens to 2040 MDL, so if you have somewhere to cut the cake and do not mind a Tuesday at noon, the plain session is clearly cheaper. The short rule: at the weekend, take the package; on a weekday, do the maths.
The at-home option: where the money actually goes
Home looks like the cheapest option and often is, but the saving does not come from where people think. The space is free; the other three blocks remain, and some are paid in hours rather than lei. What to ask about and budget for:
- The entertainer. Quoted by phone, per programme rather than per hour, and the price varies with the character, the props, the number of children and the day. Weekends cost more and get booked weeks ahead. Ask explicitly how long the programme runs and what happens if you overrun.
- The food. If you cook, you pay in hours. If you order in, you pay per person, and the adult menu is costed separately.

You have a list of 14 children and you want a Saturday. Grand Party costs 5000 MDL whether it is Saturday or Tuesday, and 14 guests sits comfortably under the 16 threshold, so you can still add two more children at no extra cost. What the day and the season change
Birthday packages cost the same every day, so for them the day of the week only affects availability. Worth saying plainly, because not every birthday needs an arena:
- Very young children. Under roughly four, movement games built on rules and scoring do not land. Small preschoolers have a better time at home or in a soft-play space.
