The cheapest time to play is a weekday before 16:00. At Hai Pixel, the first interactive LED-floor venue in Chisinau, one hour for eight players costs 1080 MDL from Monday to Thursday between 10:00 and 16:00, 1440 MDL on a weekday evening after 16:00, and 1600 MDL at the weekend, which for us includes the whole of Friday. The gap between the cheapest and the most expensive hour for that group is 520 lei, or 65 lei per person. But the cheap band has a property no price list mentions: it is also the busiest time on our floor, and the quietest hours we have are weekday evenings, which cost more.
Below are the exact totals for all three bands, for groups of 2 to 24 players, for one hour and for two, the gap in lei and per person, and an explanation of what you are actually buying when you pay extra for the evening. When is it cheapest to play on the LED floor in Chisinau?
There are exactly three price bands and their edges are hard. The venue is open daily from 10:00 to 22:00, and inside that schedule the day splits like this.

The first thing almost everyone trips over: Friday counts as the weekend in full, from the morning onwards. Friday at 11:00 costs exactly what Saturday at 18:00 costs, and a cheap Friday band simply does not exist. If you were planning to save money by booking Friday early, there is no saving. The cheap part of the week ends on Thursday evening.
The second thing: the band is decided by the hour your session starts, not by where its middle falls. A session that runs from 15:00 to 16:00 is a daytime session. A session that starts at 16:00 is already an evening one. For a group of ten, 340 lei sit between those two options, which makes shifting your start one hour earlier the cheapest saving available anywhere in our pricing.
Exactly what you save by moving the booking
The price is charged per group, not per head, and it climbs in steps: every group size has its own row. Below are the one-hour totals across all three bands, with the weekday daytime saving against the weekend.

The table shows something you would not expect. The saving grows in absolute lei as the group grows: a pair saves 140 lei, a group of twenty four saves 1100. Per person it runs the other way: the pair keeps 70 lei each, the group of twenty four only 46. The bigger the group, the smaller each person's own gain from moving to a weekday, and the harder it is to persuade everyone to clear a working morning for that amount.
Which gives the organiser of a large group a practical rule: if moving to a weekday means even two people out of twenty cannot come, the move does not pay for itself. You pay for the group size you booked, and losing two people costs more than the 46 lei each of you saved. One trap worth naming directly. A phrase like "from 1250 lei" means the price at exactly nine players, not a rate you can divide by any number of people. You cannot take a smaller group's total and divide it across a larger headcount: every size has its own row and that is the row to read.
What if you book two hours?
Same logic, larger sums, and with them a larger gap between the bands. Two hours do not cost double one hour; they cost roughly 1.85 times as much, because the second hour is cheaper than the first.

A two-hour session doubles the stakes of the "when" question too. A group of twenty four booking two hours pays 2040 lei more at the weekend than on a weekday. That is the one situation where moving the booking decides a serious sum, and it is large groups on two hours who should genuinely fight for a weekday date.
And a trick few people know. The band follows the hour your session starts, not how long it then runs. A two-hour session starting on a Thursday at 15:00 is charged at the daytime rate throughout, even though its second hour falls after 16:00. For a group of sixteen that is 2960 lei instead of 3700, a difference of 740 lei purely for starting an hour earlier. If your schedule allows a start before 16:00 on a weekday at all, that is the largest saving available without changing the date.
The cheap band does not mean an empty room
Here is the honest part this article exists for. Most pages about things to do describe a weekday morning as the quiet slot when you will have the place almost to yourself. That is not true of us, and we would rather tell you before you arrive than after.
Monday to Thursday between 10:00 and 16:00 is the busiest time on our floor. That band is when children's groups, school and kindergarten outings, team-building bookings and parents with children in free hours all come. The price is lower there because it is a working day, not because the room is empty. A family arriving on a Wednesday at 11:00 may well share the room with another group, and nobody is promising them a quiet session alone with the floor.
The quietest hours we have are weekday evenings, Monday to Thursday from 16:00 to 22:00. They cost more than the daytime band and clearly less than the weekend, and on crowding they are the best of the three by a wide margin. The weekend, Friday included, is both the most expensive and heavily booked: you pay the maximum and arrive into the fullest room.

It is worth being precise about what "sharing the room" means. Your group still gets its own floors according to headcount: up to 8 players one floor, 9 to 16 two floors, 17 to 24 three. The other group plays on its floors, not yours, and no queue for the floor appears because of them. What is shared is the entrance, the changing area, the table area and the general noise level. That is exactly why the difference between bands is felt most by people arriving with small children or planning to sit and talk at the table between rounds.

Booking ahead is worth it in any band, and doubly so at the weekend, but a phone call is the only way to learn how full a particular hour is before you arrive.
Let us also say what we do not sell. A standard session does not give you the venue exclusively: even in the quietest hour another group may be alongside you. If you need guaranteed space of your own, a standard booking is the wrong product whichever band you pick. The single most useful conclusion in this article hides here. Quiet gets cheaper as the group grows. A pair pays 50 lei per person for it, a group of twenty four pays 21 lei per person, less than half. A large group buys itself the freest room of the week for a surcharge that is trivial at its scale, so it is large groups above all who should look at the weekday evening first rather than at the weekday daytime.
The reverse is equally true. For a pair or a family of four, 50 lei each is felt, and if the budget decides, the daytime band stays the right choice. Just come knowing the room will most likely be lively.

The honest verdict on pairs. Two adults at the weekend pay 440 lei for an hour, or 220 each, and that is the worst per person rate in the whole catalogue. The games are built around movement and competition, and two people use a small part of what the room can do. If you are coming as a pair, come on a weekday before 16:00 for 300 lei, or bring two more friends: four people on a weekday pay the same 150 lei each but get noticeably better rounds.
The second honest verdict. If what you need is a genuinely calm environment without loud sound and bright light, the weekday evening solves the crowd problem but not the atmosphere one. An LED arena with a score wall, music and lighting is loud and bright by design, in every band. Anyone looking for quiet as such will be happier with a different kind of outing.
A worked example: eight people, one hour
Take a typical case: eight people, one hour, and the only open question is the date. The floor is played in socks, your own clean socks are perfectly fine, and anti-slip socks are sold on site at 30 lei a pair. We will count as if all eight take socks, because that is the number that lands on the bill.

The spread between the extremes is 520 lei for the group and 65 lei per person. Moving from the daytime band to the evening costs 360 lei, or 45 lei each, and buys the freest room of the week. Moving to the weekend adds another 160 lei and buys a convenient date, but the room gets fuller, not freer. Put to the group in one sentence: 45 lei each buys you space, and the next 20 lei each buys you Saturday.

What does not change with the band
Only the price and the number of people around you change. Everything else is identical at any opening hour.
- The games. More than thirty movement games are available at all times, a round lasts 2-3 minutes, and the group's score shows live on the wall screen.
- The venue. 360 square metres, pressure-sensitive interactive LED floors and an interactive LED wall. None of it is switched off in the cheap band.
- The floors. Up to 8 players use one floor, 9 to 16 use two, 17 to 24 use three. The rule is the same every day.
- Birthdays. Packages cost the same on any day of the week: Party for up to 8 guests 3000 MDL, Grand Party for up to 16 guests 5000 MDL, Festival for up to 50 guests 7000 MDL. The structure is the same too: 2 hours of LED-floor games with the table area, then roughly 2 more hours in the private celebration area.
