Between 2 and 24 people can play on the LED floor at Hai Pixel, the first interactive LED-floor venue in Chișinău, in a single session. The rule behind that number takes two lines: one floor holds 8 players at the same time, and the venue has 3 floors. Up to 8 players you are all on one floor, from 9 to 16 a second floor opens, and from 17 to 24 a third one opens as well. At 24 the session is full and online booking stops there.
That number does not just change a field in the booking form. It changes what each person pays, how many of the 30 plus games work properly, and what the hour feels like in the room. The capacity rule, in two lines
The floor reads the pressure of your feet, not cameras and not controllers. Each floor has a surface the system splits between a maximum of 8 simultaneous players, and Hai Pixel has 3 such floors plus an interactive LED wall, inside 360 m² at Grand Hall, bd. Constantin Negruzzi 2/4, second floor. All the arithmetic here comes from that: 8 times 3 is 24, the ceiling of a session booked online.

Sessions are booked as one hour or two, daily between 10:00 and 22:00. A round lasts 2-3 minutes, the score appears on the wall in real time, and you play in socks only: your own clean pair is fine, anti-slip socks cost 30 MDL. Staff speak Romanian, English and Russian, and the venue has held 5.0 on Google since opening in June 2026.
What changes at 9 players?
The ninth player is the most expensive player in the whole table, and the reason is physical. Up to 8 you are on one floor. At 9 a second floor opens, so an entire second system starts up for one extra person. Monday to Thursday before 16:00, an hour for 8 players costs 1080 MDL and an hour for 9 costs 1250 MDL. The ninth player adds 170 MDL, where the eighth had added 120.
The effect shows up per head too, and this is the only place in the table where the per person price goes up instead of down. At 8 players the daytime hour works out to 135 MDL per person; at 9 it works out to 139 MDL. Small, but worth knowing before you say yes to the friend asking whether there is room for one more.
The good news arrives immediately afterwards. The tenth player adds only 50 MDL in the same window, the eleventh another 50, and so on up to 16. Once the second floor is open, you fill it almost for free. If there are 9 of you and two more would come, invite them: at 11 players the daytime hour costs 1350 MDL, which is 123 MDL per person, less per head than the 9 were paying.
In the room, the jump from one floor to two is the biggest format change in this article. With a single floor, everyone plays the same game at once and watches each other. With two floors, the group can split into two teams playing in parallel and comparing scores on the wall, or run two different games at once, which helps enormously when the ages are mixed. What changes at 17 players?
At 17 the third floor opens and, unlike the ninth, the seventeenth player is the cheapest in the whole table. Monday to Thursday before 16:00, 16 players cost 1600 MDL an hour and 17 cost 1640. Forty lei for an entire extra floor. At the weekend, which here begins on Friday morning, the same step costs 60 MDL: 2400 for 16, 2460 for 17.
The reason is that the third floor opens at 17 and stays open to 24, so it cannot be paid for by one person alone. From the eighteenth player up, each one adds 80 MDL in the daytime window and 120 MDL at the weekend, more than the players between 10 and 16 were adding. The per head price still falls, because the base it is divided across is already large.
17 is also where the per person price drops below 100 MDL for the first time: 1640 divided by 17 is 96 MDL per person for a morning hour Monday to Thursday. That is the second cheapest per head figure bookable online, behind the full 24 player session at 92 MDL per person.
With three floors active the format changes again. The group works like a tournament: three teams, rotations between floors, a shared ranking on the score wall and much more noise. The price at every threshold and what it works out to per person
There are three pricing windows: Monday to Thursday 10:00 to 16:00, Monday to Thursday 16:00 to 22:00, and the weekend, which includes the whole of Friday. The amounts below are the total for the group at the exact number of players in the first column, not a per head rate.

Read the tables vertically. From 2 to 24 players, the Monday morning hour falls from 150 MDL per person to 92, and the weekend hour falls from 220 to 138. A full group pays almost 40 percent less per head than a pair does in exactly the same window. This is the only permanent discount in the system: it does not depend on codes, campaigns or carefully chosen hours, only on how many people you bring.
One detail surprises almost everyone: between 2, 3 and 4 players the per head price does not move at all. Two players pay 150 MDL per person for the daytime hour, three pay 150, four pay 150. The same at the weekend, where all three come out at exactly 220 MDL per person, and in the evening, where all three come out at 200. The per head price only starts falling from the fifth player. So if there are two of you hesitating to invite anyone else for budget reasons, do not: the third and fourth person cost nothing extra per head.
What the next player costs
The table below is more useful than it looks, because people book a round number and then someone else turns up. The figures show what that one extra player adds to the total, not what they cost on average.

The practical conclusion writes itself. If there are 8 of you and one more comes, brace for a jump of 170 MDL, but after that you climb to 16 at almost no cost per head. If there are 16 of you and one more comes, it is the best moment in the table: 40 MDL opens an entire floor. The worst places to stop are 9 and 18, because you have just paid to open a floor you are not using.
A worked example: 12 colleagues, Friday evening, two hours
Twelve office colleagues want to come on Friday after work, for two hours. Friday falls inside the weekend window, so a two hour session for 12 players costs 3770 MDL. Divided by 12, that is 314 MDL per person. They play across two floors, because 12 sits between 9 and 16.
Now add socks. Say five of the twelve have no suitable socks with them and take anti-slip pairs at 30 MDL each: 5 times 30 is 150 MDL. The total becomes 3920 MDL, which is 327 MDL per person. That is the figure that lands on the bill, not the one in the table, and it is worth telling the group up front.
Now move the same session in time. Thursday evening, the same 12 people, still two hours: 3260 MDL, or 272 MDL per person. Thursday before 16:00: 2590 MDL, or 216 MDL per person. The gap between Friday evening and Thursday morning is 1180 MDL for the same group, the same two hours, the same two floors and the same games. And if the group settles for a single hour on Friday evening, it drops to 2040 MDL, or 170 MDL per person.
One more scenario, because it happens often: two colleagues confirm late and the group becomes 14. At 14 players, Friday, two hours costs 4110 MDL. Those two people added 340 MDL to the total, but the price per person fell from 314 to 294 MDL. That is the principle running through this article: the bigger group is the cheaper group, and the only exception is the jump from 8 to 9.
How many players fit comfortably, not just technically?
8 per floor is the technical maximum, not necessarily the ideal number for every group. The difference matters: the system lets you be 8, but it does not force you to be 8 at once.
With 8 adults on the same floor, the games that ask you to run across the whole surface get crowded: people touch, dodge and block each other, which for some groups is the fun part. The games where each person stands on their own tile and reacts to what lights up work flawlessly at 8. With children the bodies are smaller and the space is enough, but the youngest watch the floor rather than each other, so fewer players per floor gives clearer rounds.
Which leads to a practical recommendation: if there are 8 adults and you want room, play 6 on the floor and two on the side, then rotate. A round lasts 2-3 minutes, so nobody sits out long. The same logic works at 16 and at 24, and the score wall makes the break interesting, because the ranking keeps changing in real time.
One last piece of logistics. The number of players refers to who steps onto the floor, not who comes into the room. Parents or teachers standing at the side do not take up playing places. In practice, a class of 24 children fits into one full session exactly when the adults stay on the side.
The honest verdict if there are only two of you
The session for two players is the most expensive in the catalogue per head, and it is fair that you know before booking. 150 MDL per person for a morning hour Monday to Thursday, 200 MDL in the evening, 220 MDL at the weekend. For two hours the figures are 280, 370 and 405 MDL per person. A group of 24 pays 92 MDL per person for the same hour in the same window. Same floor, same games, less than half the price per head.
The second half of the verdict is not about money but about games. Some of the best titles among the 30 plus are built for teams: they need more feet on the floor at once to make sense, either because they split the surface between sides or because a score only matters compared with someone else's. As a pair you are left with the one on one duels and the individual score games. Those are good and there are enough for a full hour, but they are part of the list, not the list.
So no, a pair does not need to avoid the LED floor. They just need to know what they are buying. The honest recommendation has three parts: pick the hour Monday to Thursday before 16:00 at 300 MDL in total, take one hour rather than two, because with two people there is no rotation and fatigue arrives sooner, and if at all possible bring two friends. The third and fourth player cost nothing per head and open half the list.

Above 24 players the session is no longer booked online: groups of 25 to 60 people are arranged as a custom event, settled by phone on +373 79 238 617.
Separately there are the birthday packages, which count guests rather than players and carry one flat price on any day: Party for up to 8 guests at 3000 MDL, Grand Party for up to 16 at 5000 MDL with 250 MDL per extra guest, and Festival for up to 50 at 7000 MDL. The structure is 2 hours of LED-floor games with the table area, then roughly 2 more hours in the private celebration area, so around 4 hours on site. No age limit.
How to choose the number you book
Book the number you are sure of, not the number you are hoping for. What you pay is the amount for the group you booked, so if you book 12 and 10 turn up, those 10 split the price of 12. Better to book 10 and call if two more appear.
Otherwise, remember three things and the rest sorts itself out:
- The thresholds are 8, 16 and 24. Between them extra people are cheap. Cross one and a new floor opens and the price jumps.
- Friday counts as weekend for pricing, all day, not just in the evening.
- Socks are counted per person, 30 MDL a pair, and are not in the price table.
